Week 1: A Fairytale Wedding in the Cotswolds

This week, I had the pleasure of filming a truly magical wedding set in the heart of the Cotswolds, at
the stunning Barnsley House. The rolling hills and charming stone cottages provided a picturesque
backdrop that looked like something straight out of a storybook. The day began with the gentle hum
of excitement as I captured the bride, Emily, getting ready with her bridesmaids in the elegant, sunlit
rooms of the house.

Emily and her groom, James, were an absolute joy to work with. Their love for each other was
palpable, and it was clear that every moment of their special day was carefully planned to reflect
their personalities. The ceremony took place in the intimate garden, with the vibrant blooms adding
a touch of natural beauty to every shot. The couple exchanged vows under a beautifully decorated
archway, and as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, the emotion in the air was almost
tangible.

The reception was held in a beautifully restored barn, adorned with twinkling fairy lights and rustic
decor. The speeches were heartfelt and had everyone laughing and crying in equal measure. One of
the highlights for me was capturing the couple’s first dance – a romantic, graceful waltz that
perfectly encapsulated their connection.

Throughout the day, Emily and James were so relaxed and easy-going, which made my job a dream.
They trusted me to capture their special moments, and I was able to blend into the background,
allowing the day to unfold naturally. It was an honor to be part of their wedding and to preserve
these memories for them. I can’t wait to share their final video, which I know will be a beautiful
reflection of their love and the magical day they shared.
