Week 3: A Rustic Seaside Wedding in Cornwall

This week took me to the charming coastal town of St Ives in Cornwall, where I had the pleasure of
filming the wedding of Lucy and Tom. They chose to celebrate their love in a beautiful rustic barnoverlooking the sea, combining the charm of the Cornish countryside with the stunning views of the
coastline. The setting was nothing short of breathtaking.

Lucy and Tom were an amazing couple to work with – their energy and excitement were contagious.
From the moment I started filming their preparations, it was clear how much thought they had put
into every detail. The morning was filled with laughter and anticipation as Lucy got ready in a quaint
cottage just a stone’s throw from the beach, while Tom and his groomsmen enjoyed a relaxed
morning on the coast.

The ceremony took place outdoors, with the sound of the waves crashing in the background. As Lucy
walked down the aisle, the sun broke through the clouds, casting a golden glow over the entire
scene – a moment that was truly magical to capture on film. Their vows were heartfelt and sincere,
and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as they declared their love for one another.

The reception was held in a beautifully decorated barn, with rustic wooden tables, wildflowers, and
fairy lights creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The speeches were a mix of humor and
heartfelt emotion, and I loved capturing the candid reactions of the guests. Lucy and Tom’s first
dance was a lively affair, with their guests joining them on the dance floor soon after, creating a
lively and joyful atmosphere that lasted well into the evening.
